Stoke-on-Trent to Lincoln on a Sunday.

Can anybody find a route from Stoke-on-Trent to Lincoln for me on the 1st November arriving between 10 and 11am and departing between 5 and 6pm, can't go via derby as first train from Stoke isn't until 15:33 that way.

First train to Lincoln on a Sunday departs Newark Northgate at 11:35 and arrives at Midday

I can tell you you're not doing that without leaving the day before :P

There aren't any trains arriving at Lincoln on a Sunday until about midday (or leaving Stoke until 9!). A cursory search of buses and coaches also doesn't show any that are likely to be helpful, I'm afraid.

How do you feel about hitchhiking down the A50?

If you can get to Grantham bus station before 9am you might be able to get this bus

The first train to arrive at Lincoln that day is the 12:02 from Newark North Gate.
Witht he frist train of the day to leave Stoke being at 09:00 to London (first stop: Watford), the earliest options that even exist are (if my information/looking up is correct):
(1) 09:00 -> Euston (11:02), 12:03 -> Newark NG (13:20), 13:35 -> Lincoln (14:00)
(2) 11:20 -> Stockport (11:52), 12:27 -> Shefield (13:07), 13:42 -> Lincoln (14:51)
(3) 14:30 would be the first option via Crewe, due to Nottingham-Lincoln starting very late on Sunday.
