Im thinking of going to reading from stockport. Dont want any reserved seating. Could any one find me split tickets. Travelling after 930am, coming back on the same day, thanks.

Tough one this routing.
Manchester Wayfarer £ 10.00 Stockport to Grindleford & v.v
Derbyshire Wayfarer £ 8.90 Grindleford to Burton on Trent & v.v
Oxfordshire Day Ranger £ 13.00 Banbury to Reading & v.v
Having trouble with Burton to Banbury for less than £ 27.50 :roll:
any idea's for this?

You could try a string of day returns
Stockport - Stafford...............CDR £15-40
Stafford - Wolverhampton........CDR £6-30
Wolverhampton - Coventry.......CDR £6-10*
Coventry - Leamington Spa.......SDR £4-70
Leamington Spa - Banbury........CDR £7-00
Banbury - Reading...................CDR £10-60
Total £50-10
Your train would have to call at all of the stations above (the 0935 from Stockport does. as do all the direct trains leaving at 11 minutes past the hour from Reading)
You could save 50p by using a Network WM Daysaver for this portion of the journey.
