Hi all,

in November I am doing the following:

01/11/2011

10:57 Lancaster - Birmingham New Street (Virgin Edinburgh to New Street Service)
13:12 Birmingham New Street - Taunton (XC Dundee - Penzance Service)

03/11/2011

09:51 Taunton - Birmingham New Street (XC Penzance to Glasgow Central Service)
12:20 Birmingham New Street - Lancaster (Virgin New Street to Edinburgh Service)

Am I right in assuming all the above will have Voyagers booked? Or could I be fortunate enough to get a Pendolino or HST?

01 November :

You got the Destination wrong :) the 1312 from Birmingham New Street is a Plymouth Service from Dundee at 0632, this is 1V54 booked a HST.

the rest of your journeys are voyagers :)

Ah right thanks Sonic. I'm sure it said Penzance when I look at National Rail Enquiries!

I'm looking forward to a little bit of comfort now haha

I have travelled on a Scotland-Birmingham service earlier in the year which was a Pendilino (the departure boards said 'super' Voyager, the announcements disagreed) so it possible to get them on those services, but expect a Voyager.

Likewise - the 1600 Glasgow - New St was the one I had. That had been set swapped though (utter bliss in 1st class!!!). There is potential it could happen but I wouldn't overly bet on it :P

There was also a pre VHF Edinburgh - Euston
