G'day everyone,

I recently read that Stobart rail services were now being operated by DRS, having switched back from DBS and was wondering what the reasons were behind this? As i understood it Stobart had switched to DBS because of their access to European markets and ability to run services through the tunnel hence my surprise at the move back to DRS.

Thanks in advance!

Richmond Commuter!

Thanks for this. I must say it seems rather odd that a train that doesn't cross international borders is operated by two different companies! Surely DBS could find a class 66 to replace a class 92 at Mossend?
