Stevenage<>Hitchin, no e-tickets, paper/ToD only

I recently travelled Stevenage<>Hitchin, out Saturday, back Sunday. I used the ticket office.

As I may be repeating the journey, I looked it up on the forum ticket sales site. The tickets (two super off-peak singles) are only available as paper/ToD.

I am not seeking to repeat any of the debates about ticketing, just curious about:
(a) Why is this particular journey currently paper/ToD only ?
(b) When are e-tickets likely to become available ?

Thameslink/Great Northern Super Off Peak tickets are not available as eTickets. That flow will have other tickets available as eTickets though.

It is not likely to change. If you want to use that fare in a 'smart' way then KeyGo is your friend.
