Stevenage/Hitchin, 7/12/25 disruption

4L98 Doncaster Iport-Lomdon Gateway, headed by 66776 has been sat on the up slow north of Hitchin since about 1120 this am.

In platform 1 at Stevenage is what shows as 0J36 but seems to be some form of Railhead Treatment Train, it's dark but there's an EWS 66 north end and then a GBRf at south end, but with too big a gap, I can't tell in the dark on passing if there is another 66. I think that has been there a long time too.

Any ideas what's going on? Trains queueing through the area as only one line southbound.

3J36 with 66121+66179.

Something reported as running hot within the formation, so stopped for examination.

66179 has since detached from the remainder, but nothing else seems to have happened.

Am sure there a GBRf 66 in and around 3J36 at the South end (now wondering as dark whether that had somehow come off 4L98. But probably not.

4L98 is stuck as it's not route cleared via Welwyn and has no route to get down the Hertford with 3J36 where it is.

Looks like 4L98 went forward to Stevenage and then departed North from southbound platform 2. Plat 1 and 2 look open at Stevenage but still seems to be something blocking just South of platform 1 on up slow.
