You do realise of course that the phrase "knocking on death's door" refers more commonly to terminal illness?

Exactly how was Steve Irwin "knocking on death's door"? Did he have cancer or something the whole world doesn't know about?

You kiddo are a ****.

Steve Irwin didn't deserve to die, a tragic accident. It didn't really surprise me but he didn't deserve it. Australia seems to be hit quite hard by it. Condolences to those who are grieving.

Sorry chaps, this thread is game over, the event has passed and I don't think we are going to get any more out of it. If you really feel the need to post genuine messages of condolence, start a new thread, but if that one degenerates, ALL perpetrators will be on the receiving end of a ban.
