On the local news tonight was this item regarding Steamy Affairs entering administration (interview with Mr Parcell included in tonights main program can be found here at 9:15).

Is this the same chap who is behind Heartland Rail?, who also seem to have given up judging by their website - very useful.

Yes, Adrian Parcell, owner of Cotswold Rail, Steamy Affairs, Heartland Rail, Blue Pullman Rly Co (or something like that) and I think another firm?

My stepmum bought tickets for my dad's birthday, and I went along on this tour organised by a company I cant remember who, on 3rd Dec 2005, which was a Lincoln - Exeter peaks. It was 1 hour late into Nottingham because of faliures on one of the class 45s hauling, and as we got on to our ex Virgin mk2 with flickering lights and busted springs in the seats, you begin to wonder why! And we never got to Exeter, we got to Leicester in 2 1/2 hours instead. When I was at home I saw the train coming back again hauled by an EWS 67

A pair of 45's, which two was that then, I thought there was only one pres'd peak Main Line Registered, that wagon 112? (If it ain't broke, which it normally (always) is)

It's not just BBC Bristol that have been giving Steamy Affairs some negative coverage, Look East has as well this week. Though they filmed some of their steam footage using Thomas on the NVR

can't remember, I never really collected numbers at the time. One was the same one they used for the one out of St Pancras a few years back
