Dont laugh!!! But....
Would it be feasible to get malard running again and see if she could beat her speed record on HS2?
Sterile track. No level crossings. No conflicting train moves or signalling issues, so no need for TPWS/AWS/GSMR. Just a one time thrashing and see if she can do it?
