Steam specials around Darlington in the 60's

[jgwilliams2009]

I am in the process of building a transition era layout based ECML / Darlington 1956-1965.
Trying to keep to authentic stock but was wondering what steam specials ran through Darlington in that era,so i could justify any "foreign" stock running.
I know that 45552 Alberta was there in 1967 with a rail tour,30925 Cheltenham,46143 South Staffordshire Regiment 46250 City of lichfield also paid a visit.
Anybody else know of any other locos visiting.

Many Thanks

You might find some tours on the Six Bells site:

And, although not railtours, I recall that a few ex-LMSR locos were overhauled at Darlington Works, including at least one "Jinty" 0-6-0T.

Thanks Bevan,
Just what i'm looking for

This series, which I guess is taken from magazines of the time, gives lots of notes of observations in its "Motive power changes and notes" sections of unusual workings of the period
