Steam service cancellations due to "technical issues"

I was at the Snowdon Mountain Railway asking about steam services for the day I've posted this and they said all steam train services are cancelled for the day due to "technical issues". What kind of issue(s) can disable a railway's entire steam fleet?

Failure of the water supply and or boiler water treatment plant amongst others.

High winds on the mountain is another possible reason for cancellation, although it doesn't seem too bad today.

If they’re all on the same dead-end siding, anything preventing the movement of the nearest one. Don’t know how many steam locos the SMR normally deploys, but if it’s only one, you can’t suddenly have a replacement ready from cold if there’s a last minute hitch.

Possibly not more vulnerable, as everything gets binned off if the wind up on Snowdon is much above 50 m.p.h.

Expected high temperatures today might make working on the footplate too risky in terms of heat stress to the crew?
Grass alongside the line at a high fire risk level?

Both the above could be reasons, I think.

Fire risk, throwing cinders out could/most likley will set fire to heather/grass/fearns /etc.

Indeed and yesterday's Vintage Trains' Shakespeare Express had to run with 'Clun Castle' in light steam only with the Class 47 diesel doing all the work for that very reason.
