What about Cambridge? or does this have a bay platform, I forget.
I went there today, and it does, but even so the arrangement of one long platform serving both sides of a double track line is rather unique.
That sounds about right, this is the same country that had the 'economic' listowel and ballybunion monorail, which took up as much space as a 3' gauge railway, needed twice as many locomotive fittings, had the problem of balancing, the problem of crossing the raised rail by road traffic or passengers, and the fact that is actually uses more steelwork then a normal railway. But its these curiosities that make it all so interesting!
