Stations that always have trains

This question is has been bugging me since I started thinking about it this morning.

How many National Rail or London Underground stations always have a train of some description on one of their normal service platforms, 24 hours a day? Which stations are they?

(It doesn't have to be the same train on the same platform throughout the whole day of course)

Swansea is almost never without a train in the platform, certainly it's not very long without one there as Landore doesn't have enough room overnight for all the HSTs and the cleaners have easier access to the trains when they're in the station.

One of the few places anywhere in the UK where all platforms are occupied by HSTs in the early morning AFAIK.

I can't recall ever seeing Lincoln Central without a train in the platform. Except when tbe renovation and re-signalling was going on a few years ago.

Exeter always seems to have trains on the platforms when I travel through on the sleeper.
Guildford and Waterloo are used as overnight stabling locations.

Oxford - there has been a GUV and CCT in the parcels platform for 20+ years!

If the 06.00 ex-Lst is running a few minutes late & the 08.00up has departed, Norwich is often empty until the 07.32 ex-Gym arrives at 08.05. It doesn't last long as the 08.10 EMT arrival from Nottingham is usually early.

London Bridge low level normally always has trains berthed overnight, unless there is engineering works going on, which requires trains to be "outberthed" elsewhere, such as Selhurst depot or Streatham Hill sidings.

Pretty sure St Pancras does, even when there's not an FCC train calling in service, there is EMT and Eurostar stock berthed.

Was going to suggest Huddersfield for similar reasons, though I don't want to open the can of worms about whether a single carriage constitutes a train!

As there is no ‘depot’ to speak of in the city, Sheffield Midland must be very busy during the small hours?
I know that the London Fleet are based overnight in Derby and Leeds, i am assuming that all the other trains that start in Sheffield in the morning are stabled in the station?

Northampton is also a contender and especially if u count castle yard sidings right next to it, that always seems to have something in it!

I have been on the platform at Swansea on numerous occasions with no trains in sight! Most usually, though, this is caused by delays somewhere! Usually there is at least one train from a service that has a relatively long turn around time.

Don't think so. The first post in this convo said normal service trains in platforms The river sidings at Northampton are not platforms. You can't count the bays (4 and 5) either, coz there isn't always something in there during the day. I should know, I get the train to my booking on point from there every day!!

Leicester will have a train pretty much throughout the day somewhere. Many of XC's Turbos stable here overnight (mostly in Pfm 1 and 4), and some of EMT's 156s too I believe.

Euston always has something stabled there, either an LO unit or two, often in platform 17 running on AC, or LM often stable one there overnight at weekends for the first down service on Sunday morning.

With servicing/stabling in the platforms I think there will always be at least one train in Nottingham station.

Indeed. A perfect example there is the HST that's come in from Paddington, they at least used to have a decent length turn out (say the 0845 Paddington to Swansea would usually arrive by 1145 and not leave again until 1230 back when I lived in Fforestfach - this being back in 2005), with a train for West Wales or the North also in the platforms. Apart from the late evenings, I think it's only usually about 10 minutes normally or so without a train in the platform, if not less. I haven't been there for years so I don't know what exactly happens there now.

Sheffield has a lot of units stabled overnight in the platform and centre roads
