I was wondering if anyone knew of anything similar to this website, whose log I've been using to track my UK visited stations, but for other countries.

I use https://viaduct.world to log my train journeys and it provides me with quite a lot of interesting statistics about stations I've visited, stations I've called at, percentage of stations visited etc. and even a map showing all this. And that's in addition to lots of other cool features.

Just wanted to say “thank you” for drawing my attention to this. At the same time “curse you” because that site is going to “waste” an awful lot of my time when I really ought to be doing more boring important things.

I'm about to start adding my journeys from before June 2024 when I didn't log every train I took but did log the places I went to and took lots of photos!

Though I'd say this map alone is worth it:

I’ve currently reached 2003 concentrating on non-UK and am in danger of RSI! I’m intrigued by what elderly traction is included and what more recent (but non-current) stuff isn’t!

Viaduct pulls the vehicle data from WikiData which as you say does indeed miss some vehicles you'd expect would already be added and does include some surprisingly niche vehicles. If you ever find yourself having nothing more important to do you can always add the necessary data to WikiData using this guide: https://blog.viaduct.world/guides/assigning-vehicles-to-your-trips-in-viaduct/, they regularly sync Viaduct with WikiData.

I use a custom colour-coded Google MyMaps page for logging my stations visited, but obviously this is an extreme pain for actually mapping out lines ridden, hence (as seen below) my map is missing loads of the actual coloured lines, I've travelled over as it's such a time-consuming and tedious process to map out manually, especially abroad in which I've covered way more track than I've marked on my map. Every single station I've visited in memory is mapped out and accurately colour coded though.

I use Viaduct for mapping international train journeys as of this year, although I exclude my UK journeys which I instead log on TransitTracker (https://transittracker.net/) which also allows you to log Buses, Metro and Trams in the UK too. It does now as of very recently also support other countries though. It's better suited for road transport and shorter distances though as that was what it was originally designed for.
