One was used on a down 'Cobbler' after a Freightliner bought the wires down for milers. Might have even been more than one day.
The (ETH) set was connected to the shore supply so the coaches got warm waiting departure. The fresh-air types opened all the windows on sitting down, so, once we got going, it turned cold (early winter ???). But, even if the 25 had been ETH fitted there wouldn't have been many HP left for traction ...
A single 25 with 11 on was interesting up the bank. But we got home, in the days when the railway tried its best.
