Cambridge - Cambridge Heath

Two totally different places - sharing one place name!

They both fit the rules as they both contain one another's station names!

Many "?????" Road stations, such as - in addition to the Chester, Derby, Oxford etc already been - the two London Road stations and that one we love to hate, Wandsworth Road.

A cheeky one now: Clapham Junction. These days, the area is known as Clapham Junction. When new, it was a part of Battersea.

Filton Abbey Wood - there is also a place called Abbey Wood in South London (rather confusingly this appears at the very top of the TVM when listing all stations in the country alphabetically, meaning I have known people to press "Abbey Wood" on the TVM at Filton thinking they have to select the origin first, and then confused when asked to select a very expensive train ticket to buy).

Cambridge Heath is in North East London! On your first point, I think Cambridge Heath counts in the same way as Liverpool Street, i.e. Street named after Liverpool/Heath named after Cambridge

Not really, for "Cambridge Heath" is not in the name "Cambridge" but "Cambridge" is in the name "Cambridge Heath"!!

According to the 2008/09 Usage Data, there are 28 such examples:

Argyle Street; Birmingham Moor Street; Birmingham New Street; Blake Street; Cardiff Queen Street; Clapham High Street; Duke Street; Glasgow Queen Street; Golf Street; Ham Street; High Street; Liverpool James Street; Liverpool Lime Street; London Cannon Street; London Fenchurch Street; London Liverpool Street; Old Street; Paisley Gilmour Street; Park Street; Parson Street; Silver Street; Smethwick Rolfe Street; Sole Street; St James' Street; Turkey Street; Watford High Street; Wood Street; Worcester Foregate Street

Not listed, or otherwise including "Street", are Chester-le-Street, Shoreditch High Street and Streethouse, and possibly some others as well. Others in that list of 28/31 have other areas in their names as well; Chester-le-Street is probably the obvious one (apart from London Liverpool Street, but that's been already!)
