Station Experience

Hi everyone,

New here and I would like to know if someone could help me here.

I am looking for previous experiences, both positive and negative in order to get the possibility of completing some experience at stations with the following companies:

LM
London Overground
Thameslink
Great Northern
LU
Network Rail managed stations i.e. London (Euston, Victoria, Paddington etc - either with Network Rail itself or the companies responsible for the daily duties)
Possibly VT

My local station is Watford Junction, so looking in and around this area, with the companies listed above. Who should I contact - stations itself or via email to their head office?

I don't understand what you're asking. Are you looking for like a work experience kind of thing? You want to know what people who do/have worked on stations thought of their experience?

To clarify, yes, I am after exactly that, (work experience) and wanted advice on the best approach for this. Contacting the recruitment department for each TOC seems like the best option unless of course, you have any other recommendations. If so, I would like to know.

I'm sorry, but I am well aware of which services serve WFJ, I know the station manager through a friend. Although the reason why I included other local TOCs was because they serve stations, which I consider local to me (i.e. St Albans, Elstree & Borehamwood, Welwyn Garden City etc.). I did not want to limit myself to just LM at WFJ.

Speak to the station manager you know they and see if they can offer you any better advice or ways to go about it or if it is possible. All I can do is echo others and recommend contacting the TOCs directly
