What's the longest and shortest distance between stations on the London Underground?

"The shortest distance between adjacent stations is the 330 yards (300 m) between the Leicester Square and Covent Garden on the Piccadilly line.

The longest distance between two stations is 3.9 miles (6.3 km) between Chalfont & Latimer and Chesham on the Metropolitan line."

What is now the shortest possible distance between trains on running lines under normal conditions ?
I remember one could get pretty close at Kings Cross E/B on the Piccadilly and while both trains were moving at Liverpool Street on the O/R.
I am not sure how the rolling block works but can imagine it could make the distance closer.

I blieve that Charing Cross and Embankment (when open) on the northern line is also 330yards. Longer on the Bakerloo.

Always thought there wasn't much in it between Leicester Square/Covent Garden and Charing Cross/Embankment

Also, if you widen the scope to the DLR, we have West India Quay and Canary Wharf at a princely 199m apart, and looks very weird when sitting at the front of a Lewisham-bound train. Canary Wharf/Heron Quays can't be far behind as well.

At street level, there are entrances to both stations at opposite ends of Villiers street. You could walk from one to the other in about 2 minutes.
