Station Control Assistant Network Rail

Hello All
I've applied for the Station Control Assistant position for Network Rail at Kings Cross and I've been invited for an interview.
I've done a fair bit of researching for the role as I've studied the website and the safety protocols like the life saving rules,the role itself and NR's diversity.
Is there anything else anyone can tell me about the interviewing process?
Also I don't have valid security vetting clearance and its mandatory should i still go to the interview despite that?

It could be anything related to the actual role. You need to look at the job description or advert and think what part of it is safety related and go from there.

It’ll be based on the safety vision - please ensure you bone up on the life saving rules.

If not already had your interview. then NR use STARR interview techniques
Situation - Task - Action - Result - Reflection, so try to respond using those headers, and if possible have some good examples prepared... covering safety, customers, team work, priorities, making a decision that was unpopular,

As well as the LSRs, maybe a bit of general reading on terrorist threats (suspicious baggage, people), were the industry is heading in general.

Take a glass of water... if you need thinking time - take a sip of water to buy you time to think... (works every time )
