I know exactly which station that is, but I've forgotten the end of the name :(
its Myth-something, and lies between Hebden Bridge and Sowerby Bridge on the Caldervale line

ECW, if you're willnig to accept that I do know which one it is

*Just checked a timetable, and found it to be Mytholmroyd

A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
DEV...? The only remotely possible one that I can hazard a guess at is Devons Road on the DLR, but I am not sure that I am right about that, as it will begin with "Z".

I thought that someone ( I cannot recollect who) in the past on this thread said that only heavy rail stations were to be allowed, which would obviously include all the London Underground stations.

If we are to have light rail stations allowed as answers, this point should be made clear in the rules of the quiz. There will be entries made for stops on the Blackpool tramway system before we know where we are soon.

I will set the next clue as GCH....but only if my guess at Devons Road is correct.

I can't think of any DIE station in Great Britain. Therefore, unless I'm missing something, that isn't a valid clue. (I know of Dieppe in the North of France, but rule 1 states that the station in question must be in Great Britain)

If I'm right, then try COZ

DIE is the code for Dieppe, so therefore invalid. ;)

I can't find any record of COZ :s

If it does exist it looks like a bus link.

The nearest match I can find is COX - Cockermouth Main Street (by bus).

Gnolife, if this code is valid, could you post or PM me with the full details if you know them (i.e. Name, NLC, 16 character version of the name etc).
