All railway stations in Great Britain have three letter alpha codes. They can be listed on timetables, departure boards, station information services and used on the online journey planners.

The rule number 3 is as follows

3)... The code has to be the proper station one as listed by National Rail. You can't just make it up as you go along.

The important thing to note is the word "letter" in the first sentence. Numerical submissions are not allowed on this quiz.

Using the simplistic correlation of the numbers relating to the position of letters in the English Language from "A" outwards:-
4 = D
3 = C
1 = A

This, unfortunately, gives a code of DCA that does not exist.

Therefore, for the sake of moving the quiz along, I will set the next code...WTN

Therefore, the objective of this quiz is to guess the station's code.

The rules are as follows

1) The code must be from a station in Great Britain.

Once again to help matters move along, I have caused an extract from the quiz rules which mention the word "station" as being the operative matter to note. Hence the name is The Station's Code quiz.

I have solved your submission of TTA as being that of Tadworth (The Avenue by bus)...but that is NOT a railway station code. There is a station at Tadworth, but the code for that station is TAD

However, I will let it go this time, as not wanting to hold up matters any further and I will now post.....
