A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
All railway stations in Great Britain have three letter alpha codes. They can be listed on timetables, departure boards, station information services and used on the online journey planner. Therefore, the objective of this quiz is to guess the stations code.


The rules are as follows

1) The code must be from a station in Great Britain.

2) When you submit your posting, naming that railway station in the previous posting, also add your next 3-letter station code underneath it (which must be shown in capital letters).

3) The code has to be the proper station one as listed by National Rail.
