I find it interesting that the rules say 'In Great Britain'. Does that mean that Holyhead (and others on Anglesey), and Shanklin (and others on the IOW) should not be accepted, as they are not on the island of Great Britain?

The rules extract above clearly says "from a station in Great Britain". It makes no mention whatsoever of being on an island. Great Britain should be viewed as what the normal definition of this term means.

I wonder if you are confusing matters with the rules of "The Transport Game" which have certain restrictions such as "a fixed link" and an embargo on travel to the Isle of Wight do so exist.

RRB (Rail Replacement Bus is not acceptable as an answer, although I imagine that a fair number of people using this station wish that buses would turn up instead of the usual Pacer...)
