It seems we have had a few problems with this thread, so I'd just like to remind everyone:

1) Please only use station codes officially used by National Rail.

2) Post the codes exactly as they appear on the NR planner.

3) I'd like to ask that henceforth we only use codes from the mainline (eg: Great Northern, ECML, WCML) and the London Underground.

4) Finally, only use codes from the UK. I don't think we have had any foreign codes posted, but this is just a reminder.

I'm really glad this game has continued for so long and I hope it can continue to do so. Hopefully, this new criteria will make the game better for everyone.

If you have any problems, please feel free to PM me.

I have posted this rules clarification from HST Power who first set up this quiz, as it states that the London Underground does have codes

There are numerous codes beinning with "Z" and I was given a list of these some time ago.

The only codes beinning with "Z" that I can find are Canada Water, Croxley, Farringdon and Whitechapel. Plus I'd have thought that Wikipedia or something has all the codes for the Underground stations listed, like they do for NRE stations, but they don't

I think I'm just going to stick with mainline stations, I felt a bit iffy doing Canada Water as it is a mainline station as well as Underground, but it is a catch with it's code ZCW ( don't know why this is also; I'd have thought it would be like CDW or something).

Only a few London Underground stations have NR codes (Zxx) as they tend to be the ones with NR interchanges. The Central line has codes which are listed here, but of course I think some conflict with NR codes.

I see. How interesting.

Yes, I did notice that. St Paul's clashes with St Pancras International. :P

Yes, I realised that I had typed a "P" instead of a "B" in the first of the three letters............the clue should have read BGM and my original entry has been amended with an editing note added. Tired eyes are not conducive to accuracy.

Ah I see. No worries at all :)

BGM is Bellingham.

The next code is: ALK
