A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
All railway stations in Great Britain have three letter alpha codes. They can be listed on timetables, departure boards, station information services and used on the online journey planner
The rules are as follows:-

1) The code must be from a National Rail station in Great Britain.

Yarmouth (Isle of Wight) station was closed to passengers on 21st September 1953 and as such, cannot be used as a set clue to solve on this quiz.
