All railway stations in Great Britain have three letter alpha codes. The rules are as follows:-

3)The code has to be the proper station one as listed by National Rail.

This extract from the rules needs re-itererating. This quiz is all about Station codes and no other coding for matters such as a code for a bus connectional service is deemed valid.

Therefore, whilst XBX is indeed a NRE enquiries recognised code for Belfairs Bus, it does NOT refer to a railway station, so this has to be discounted.

The rules are as follows

1) The code must be from a station in Great Britain.

2) You may only post a new code if you get the previous code (unless somebody passes on their turn). It must be in capital letters.

3) The code has to be the proper station one as listed by National Rail.

I feel the time is opportune to re-state the rules of this quiz, which is only a couple of weeks from celebrating its second anniversary.

BHN = Ballyhaunis. Unfortunately this is in County Mayo and a railway station of Iarnrod Eireann in Eire. This would tend to rule this posting as exterior to the parameters of the quiz rules.

However, to keep matters flowing, I will now post:-
