Eastleigh is also the principal junction in an area that would be a potential candidate for PTE status if ever new ones were created.

...except it doesn't have an LUL interchange? In addition, Willesden Junction has more than two LOROL platforms.

I am thus going to have to declare the last two entries invalid. Sorry!

Yes, please excuse me. I don't know what I was thinking... I have a feeling I was thinking of West Brompton.

Effingham Junction is also served by Southern only at peak times.

Clapham Junction is a rare example of a station outside of a major city centre that has an official connection time of 10 minutes or more. Retford is one of the few other stations to match this criterion.

Eastleigh is also the prin...

No, sorry, already used that association for Darlington

Shoreham-by-Sea is also the nearest station with direct services to London for what is effectively a dud of an airport.

Eaglescliffe is also on the Grand Central network (I love the name Grand Central - it sounds like a prestigious New York operator - not bloody Bradford :D)

Quakers Yard is also on the Merthyr branch of the Rhondda Line and is one of only seven railway stations on the National Rail network to start with the letter 'Q'.

Braintree is also the terminus of a branch off of the GE Main Line that once continued further West.

I just had to Google the translation of Mea Culpa - awkward :P even though I speak eight languages fluently

Southminster is also an electrified single-platform station that is also the terminus of a line operated by Greater Anglia.
