Seen as "Ps" is usually pronounced minus the "P", I would hazard a guess at Sddock Wood. Say it quickly and it becomes "Stock Wood".

Anyhow, East Didsbury is another local station in Greater Manchester, and as with Cheadle Hulme is one of the more prominent ones to not be located in one of the area's principal areas.
