Altnabreac is also a station in a very rural location with extremely small annual passenger loadings.
Very much so...
...something wrong with Euston or King's Cross?
Oh. I missed the word "only". But by your use of HSTs, wouldn't that also disqualify LST because of the 90?
Carry on![]()
Therefore I will say London Waterloo
Recently home to The Railway Children, which was originally shot at Oakworth
Are we allowed to use "heritage" stations on this quiz?
My apologies and thank you for the rules reminder. I will endeavour to respond to your posting of OAKWORTH in a similar vein.
Penrhyndeuraeth is also a single platform station that was opened in 1867 and serves the area of Portmerion where "The Prisoner" was filmed.
Minffordd is the station for Portmeirion, I believe.
Car journeys can confuse matters somewhat. Portmerion is 1.5 miles west of Penrhyndeudraeth on the A487, signposted at Minffordd.
Dingle Road is also a single-platform halt managed by Arriva.
Waun-Gron Park is also a station with two platforms, managed and served solely by one operator (Arriva Trains Wales) and also has no service on a Sunday.
