Kelvindale is another station which opened in the 21st century that has a diesel-worked service to Glasgow Queen Street.

The Fort William sleeper also passes through Linlithgow non-stop

It's 00:03 on Tuesday 27th December 2011 and the 'Station Association' thread is one year old today. Happy Birthday. :cake:

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY STATION ASSOCIATION!!

To celebrate in a rather interesting way, I will associate that Polmont was the destination of Sam Mains, who was thrown off a train at Linlithgow on 9th December by a random man for not having a ticket.

...Not to be confused with Stratford (London).

Gatwick Airport is also served by dual voltage EMUs

This thread is now exactly one year old this minute, and we're back to the station where it started off !

Whitchurch

Joyce of Whitchurch were famous station clock makers.

For puposes of clarity, the "Whitchurch" referred to here is the one in the county of Shropshire.....not the other two same-named areas in Hampshire or Cardiff.
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
Leominster and Whitchurch (Shropshire) are stations managed by ATW on the Welsh Marches Line.
