Falmouth Docks is a terminus in a fairly small town that has more than one station. The same is true of Harwich Town.

Leyton Midland Road is a station that does not have a direct link to a Londonn terminal, despite being in London itself. This is associated with Denton, which does not have a direct link to a Manchester terminal, despite being in Manchester itself.

West Croydon and Mitcham Junction serve as interchanges between NR services and Tramlink services.

Loughborough Junction also no longer functions as a junction in the same way that it used to (the difference being that at least Mitcham Junction still exists as a junction in some form for passengers whereas Loughborough Junction does not).
