The present Wolverhampton station was once the de facto High Level station in the area. This also applies to the Rhymney Line Heath High Level (the difference being its Low Level "sister" has been reopened).
Smethwick Galton Bridge is another station that has different levels for different services.
St James's Park, in Exeter, also functions as a local halt for and shares its name with a Football League stadium.
Manchester United Halt is also a station for a stadium that serves an English football club.
I am surprised by your station name above. The station in Exeter is called St James Park, whereas St James's Park is a station on the London Underground.
The station is actually called Manchester United Football Ground, not 'Halt'![]()
I thought it was Manchester United Football Ground Halthock: Aren't they supposed to be considering closing it and reopening a short distance away?
From Syston to Dronfield; another "local" station on the MML (but in practice in a fairly large town which may or may not count as a suburb).
Chester is also served by ATW and Northern.
I was looking at Newton-le-Willows on a map at the time I typed it.ATW at Chapel-en-le-Frith?!
