Morpeth is the only other station on the ECML that is served by all TOCs which pass through it

This anomaly is mostly down to Lumo; they only call at Newcastle, Morpeth, and Stevenage en route. Grand Central then skips Stevenage, leaving just 2 non-terminal stations on the ECML served by all TOCs

Our friend Mr W. Pedia doesn't suggest so (I know to take it's offerings with a pinch of salt ;)), therefore I'll take it as a typing error for Monkhill and carry on...

Mirfield is another of the 'smaller' stations in West Yorkshire which benefit from direct trains to London, thanks to Grand Central.

Nantwich is the most southwesterly station bar one in North West England. The most northwesterly station bar one in South West England is Cheltenham Spa.

This is a case where definitions may vary slightly, but I think I have a case for saying this.

In much the same way that Bath Spa was so named to distinguish it for the long closed Bath Green Park Dover Priory was so named to distinguish it from the long closed Dover Western Docks.

Trivia. Bath Green Park and Dover Western Docks both still survive in non railway use.
