Edge Hill is the first station after leaving Liverpool Lime Street on the Liverpool to Wigan Line. Bryn is the penultimate station on the same line before arriving at either Wigan North Western station.

Not all that many members of the higher clergy, such as a bishop, have a private station.....
If you meant Bishop's Stortford, I would venture that Sawbridgeworth was also opened by the Northern and Eastern Railway in 1842.

Beasdale was one of six railway stations in Britain to see zero passengers in the 2020/21 period, due to decreased travel throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. It was therefore Britain's joint-least-used station alongside (with four others) Sampford Courtenay.
