Penrith North Lakes is also one station beyond the limit of ScotRail ops, albeit on the opposite side of the country.
Stowmarket was also opened in 1846

Gowerton was also originally a double track station with two platforms - then the line was singled and the station was reduced to one platform - only to be redoubled again some years later and become a two platform station again.

Ashurst (Kent) is also located on a dynamic loop (i.e. one long enough for the usual approach control not to be needed).

From Ashurst trains towards London terminate at London Bridge apart from the last train of the day which terminates at East Croydon.
