Windsor & Eton Central is another branch terminus which is usually served by a single DMU on a shuttle style service from the nearest mainline junction, for most (if not all) of the day.

Trains from London to Birmingham Snow Hill ran from Paddington in GWR/BR days. Nowadays they run from Marylebone.

Vauxhall is another station that has over 10 million entries/exits per year, and yet is only on 1 London Underground line

(not strictly LU this connection, I must confess!)

Brockenhurst also lies on a line that was electrified in the 1960s (albeit third rail, rather than OLE is is the case with Enfield Lock)

From Coruscant-upon-Pearl to North Acton....
Grantham-Skegness locals avoid the ECML by a chord reinstated relatively, i.e. within this century. Another contemporary example of chord reinstatement within the old LNER network which has been raised, but in this case never actually taken beyond the drawing board, would allow for direct Stratford-Chingford services.

Liverpool Street is the busiest station in the UK. The other end of the spectrum is Denton, which had only 54 entries/exits in the 2023/24 period, thus making it the least used station with a service.
