OBSERVATION

I almost made the error of not reading the rules section on the very first posting of this thread by stating Shoreditch on the East London line was also the scene of a rail accident in 1963 with fatalities, but then remembered that station was closed in the early years of the 21st century and replaced by the current station of Shoreditch High Street.

Skipton is also the extremity of electrification on its line with terminating electric services and diesel services continuing down the line to terminate at an electrified station.

Before February 1970 it was possible to travel from Skipton to Burnley and beyond. This ended with the closure of the line to Colne.
