I'm confused... For starters, is that an unfortunate typo?

If so, Brest is twinned with Plymouth and not Bristol (which is twinned with Bordeaux - and Hanover)... Can we have more explanation of that one please?

Ah, OK... I clearly don't have enough worldly experience of these weird nuances yet ...

If you're playing that card, then (assuming you did indeed mean Brest) we'll hop to Quimper, the end of the other TGV classique line in Brittany.

EDIT: The other Brest is in Belarus, I think, so I may be wrong then...

No it wasn't. In fact, we've been out to Australia before.

Don't get too hung up about it! It's only a bit of fun, and hopping abroad occasionally makes it more interesting.

Liverpool is twinned with Cologne, so lets go Köln Hauptbahnhof, which like Orange (I believe) sees high speed rail services to Paris.
