Saltburn, another seaside terminus where hardy surfers may be seen
Belfast Central, another station where Thumpers used to operate!
Can we void Belfast Central? I believe only stations in Great Britain are allowed.
Belfast is in Great Britain!
No it is not. Belfast is on the island of Ireland not the island of Great Britain.
You're not going to win this one, she's technically right (avoid mentioning the EU )
Lets just move on:
Chichester - because it's a long way from Ireland (and has a harbour)
Northern Ireland is not part of Great Britain. Just look at a map and you will see there is water between them.
Wellington - Fought a battle at Waterloo.
(Hope closed stations are valid)
The rules do not say where the station has to be but if we don't restrict it to Great Britain then there would be nothing to stop someone saying Central, Sydney. The rules don't even say what type of station it has to be so there's nothing to stop someone saying International Space Station.
Taunton, another county town.Anyway from Canterbury West to Chelmsford - Also home to a 2nd Division Country Cricket Club. (Essex in this case).
Pwllheli
Another station that many people have difficulty pronouncing the name of.
Castle Cary, another station with Castle in the name.Dunrobin Castle, another station in the Highlands of Scotland and in the middle of nowhere!
