Ash is one of two intermediate stations on the Blackwater Valley line (Wokingham-Guildford) not managed by GWR. The other one is Wanborough.

Goostrey shares its three-letter station code (GTR) with the normal abbreviation for one of the passenger TOCs - Govia Thameslink Railway.

South Western Railway (SWR) is another TOC sharing its common abbreviation with the code for an unrelated station - Stewartby

Unfortunately any request to stop there at present would be refused as the station is currently in an embargoed situation.
Ah yes, I've noticed a separate thread about the current, presumably temporary, 'unusual situation' at Altnabreac.
Must hunt out my copy of 'Tiny Stations' to remind myself of the author's odd experience during his visit there.

Can I clarify whether this comment is intended as a point of information, or a suggestion that Altnabreac is a not a valid association?
Note the small amendment to the post.

Clifton (Manchester) was also a station that saw 140 total entries and exits in 2021-2022.
