I would say that @RDP was correct. The West Coast Main Line passes between the main station building and booking office, but is no longer serves the station.

I know that was a correct connection but changed it to avoid any arguments. It is unlikely anyone will remember the platforms on the Canterbury Road and Cambria Jct. curves at Loughborough Junction being in use as they closed in 1925.

Gillingham is the second station from Salisbury on the Exeter line. Mottisfont & Dunbridge is the second station from Salisbury on the Southampton line.

After leaving Lowestoft, the line splits into two, where there are two stations at the town of Oulton Broad - the North station is served by trains towards Norwich while Oulton Broad South is served by trains heading towards Ipswich.

The building was constructed to a design by the S&D resident engineer of the time John Harris, although the station building that is there ow was as a result of work carried out in 1876 by the North Eastern Railway's main architect William Peachey. His first station building was at Saltburn, where the station was opened by the Stockton and Darlington Railway in 1861 / 1862.

Although some other routes are served infrequently the main services from Saltburn are to either Manchester Victoria or Bishop Auckland.
