Walkden was formerly known as Walkden High Level. The same suffix also used to apply to Wolverhampton.

Transport for Wales run a one train every two hours service from Birmingham New Street to Pwllheli and Aberystwyth, calling at Wolverhampton; the first station after Wolverhampton is Telford Central.

(Wolverhampton is one of a number of stations where I have left an umbrella in the past, although I don't think that that's a sufficiently railway connected reason, as I have left lots of umbrellas elsewhere!)

St Peter's Collegiate Church, Wolverhampton contains a three-manual Father Willis organ, built in 1860 and restored in 2019. This restoration work, designed to return the organ to its former glory after the wear and tear of near-daily use, was completed by Michael Farley Organ Builders of Colaton Raleigh, Sidmouth, Devon in 2019.
Erm, is that rail related? Or an existing station? ;)

Most trains starting from Clitheroe run via Bolton and Manchester Victoria to Rochdale.

Signals at Gunnersbury are prefixed GB despite the controlling signal box being located at Richmond.

Llandudno Junction is unusual in being the starting point of two branch lines. This also used to be the case at Kemble.
