Apologies....getting my quizzes mixed-up again!

Basildon is located on the C2C (formerly known as the London Tilbury & Southend) line....which actually terminates at Shoeburyness.

Lenham is two stations from Ashford International on the Maidstone East line. Appledore is two stations from Ashford International on the Marshlink.

Haltwhistle also had a long closed branch line part of which is now a heritage railway.

Braystones station is an unstaffed request stop, and is situated directly on the coast in a remote location. Pearson's 1992 railway guide (Pearson's Railway Rides, The Cumbrian Coast. J M Pearson & Son, Staffs, 1992) is moved to comment, "The tiny halts at Braystones and Nethertown are as remote as anything British Rail has to offer...".

Margate station was rebuilt in 1926 by the Southern Railway's Chief Assistant Architect, Edwin Maxwell Fry CBE RA FRIBA FRTPI (1899 – 1987). The station at Dumpton Park was another of his designs, although it has since been demolished.
