I was unaware that the Suffolk station of Brampton that was opened in 1854 by the East Suffolk Railway also had a long-closed branch line serving it,
Just checked my copy of the Ian Allan British Railways Pregrouping Atlas & Gazetteer....and there was definitely no branch line from Brampton (Suffolk). Moving swiftly on:

All - or should I say both? - scheduled trains that serve Chathill also stop at Acklington.

Dronfield station was closed to passengers with effect from 2nd January 1967, although the station remained staffed for two years after closure until the goods station closed. The buildings were demolished in June 1973 but the platforms remained. Between 15th and 19th February 1979, British Rail temporarily reopened the station (along with the Midland Main Line platforms at Dore) because road transport throughout Sheffield had been brought to a standstill by heavy snowfall. (Dronfield station reopened permanently on 5th January 1981 with a limited service at peak periods only).

Newton for Hyde is known as such to avoid confusion with Newton (South Lanarkshire).

Work started on the original Cannon Street station and its approaches in July 1863, and was undertaken by Lucas Brothers, a leading British building business between 1842 and 1895. The company was based in London, but carried out contracts in a number of places, including Lowestoft, where they rebuilt the station in 1855.
