Grimsby Town station has the PlusBus scheme where train and bus tickets can be bought together at a saving; it is in the same area as Grimsby Docks and Cleethorpes stations.

At New Cross Gate, one may also find a junction to track used in passenger service which is not owned by NR, though the relevant section is, unlike Chesham, still part of the national network. (The part of the ELL which used to be on the Tube pre-2007 remains owned by TfL.)
