It did - it is in/nearby an area of Grt. Yar called Vauxhall. I believe the signal box is still called Vauxhall.

Has also had a passing loop constructed recently to allow a more frequent service.

Assuming you mean Tilbury Town? If so...

West Horndon: First station outside London fare zones on the other c2c branch.

Urgh. How did we end up back home...? My brother and I used to call West Horndon Stinky Town" whe we were little because of the factories immediately north-west of the station. Now, I really don't see why; it's not as though they burn coal!

Seriously, I'm going to choose Brentwood. Bus connections via the A128 (and also the same out-of-London criteria, if not on the c2c route).

Unable to resist the temptation to say

East Tilbury

First passenger station you'll encounter if you follow the freight line back from Coryton (Essex)...

Coatbridge Sunnyside

Trains are able to terminate and reverse here, but are not booked to do so in regular service.

This one is a triple connection.
The coat's material is stated
There's a large bridge there
And it's on the sunnyside of the country (and if you wish you can argue about which country exactly)

I hasten to add that the name "Sunnyside" is not a true reflection of that past of Coatbridge

Anyway, moving on to

Chepstow

Another station very very close to a border.

I was going to say that there wasn't a station at Aberlour any more, but then remembered my earlier Manchester Central post
