Tring should have had LUL service, as the Met wanted to build from Chesham out to there to join the WCML. Looking back, the same may well be said of Clock House—it is meant to be on the Bakerloo extension to Hayes, but it is doubtful if that happens, given COVID.

Doesn't seem to be much to say about Giffnock beyond who opened it and when. Anyhow . . . .

Before pandemic disruption set in, ORR statistics (for 2019/20) show there were just over 89,000 entries & exits by Season Ticket users at Giffnock in that accounting year.
This is a similar figure to the 89,196 Season Ticket uses at Handforth.

Prior to Stage 1 of Metrolink, from the 1970s to the 90s, Alderley Edge was a terminus for one of South Manchester's main suburban train routes.
Frequent electric trains ran to/from Alderley Edge, via Piccadilly and Oxford Rd to Altrincham.

Barnes's station building is Grade II listed, and was designed by the architect John Thomas Emmott in 1846. it is the only survivor of four brick-built Tudor Gothic-style stations on the Richmond branch, the others being Putney, Mortlake, and Richmond.
