INFORMATION

The original Euxton station on the line of the North Union Railway was opened in 1838 and closed on 2nd September 1905 by the London and North Western Railway.

On 2nd September 1905, the London and North Western Railway opened a new station called Balshaw Lane and Euxton on a site 0.80km south of the original Euxton station which was closed on 6th October 1969.

The current Euxton Balshaw Lane Station was opened in 1997.
