Paul, is that more of an association with the line as opposed to the station? Thought we had to associate something with the station itself (e.g. York has curved platforms like Bristol Temple Meads), not the line it's on? Happy to stand corrected of course!

Can I ask that you view the recent posting # 17275, made by one of the more regular contributors @EbbwJunction1 to this thread. Since that was unchallenged, I have used that as a precedent for the type of posting that I made.

Of course, I will be more than happy to strike-through my posting if you still feel it requires that action to be taken, but if so, I do ask that you retrospectively contact @EbbwJunction1 with regard to the posting he had made. Otherwise, I will remain in the full and certain belief that the first line of my website signature (the part in red type) is indeed ringing very true.

I must confess there may have been a possibility that I did not read the association itself on post #17275, merely only looking at the station in bold. I probably should have in theory, as I also am under the impression that that isn't an association per se either, but I guess we should treat everybody fair and square and let it slide.

Not entirely sure of the referencing for your signature, but I can assure you we do not have it in for you!

Feeling that the above situation has been resolved adequately, Hampton Wick station also opened in 1863 and is managed and served by one operator.

If you trawl back through this thread, there have been many previous cases where the association has been '.... is also on the X line'. While not at the more imaginative end of the spectrum, it has been custom and practice on here to accept these as valid associations for quite a while now.

Mount Florida is another station on a "circular" suburban route to/from a major city.

St Johns isn't on the Dartford Loop Line. It's actually on the South Eastern Main Line, until Hither Green where the Dartford Loop Line starts. It's between Hither Green and Crayford via, as you correctly state, Albany Park.

Kew Gardens is also a station in London that is served by only one bus route (Albany Park is served by the B14, Kew Gardens is served by the 391).

The station isn't the operative part, it's the relation. As I understand, the similarity you have drawn is that "they both have 1 bus route". That's not railway related.

I say a station and the person below would say another station that has something in common with it. It doesn't have to be unique, but try and make it as different as possible and please ensure that all associations are rail related: a separate game exists for non rail related links.

Hey ho, bigger things in life to worry about I guess!

At the risk of getting my head bitten off, Machynlleth is also a junction where two services divide, with one portion going one place and the other going another.

#17291 - I would have questioned the bus thing, but the Fare Zone 3 is an association.

Llandanwg is another single platform station served only by Transport for Wales.
