The second station at Bingley was designed by Charles Trubshaw and opened in 1892. He was the Midland Railway's Chief Architect, and is thought to be responsible for the main station buildings on platform 1 at Kettering, which were built between 1895 and 1898.
According to ORR statistics, Cheadle Hulme saw just over 870,000 passenger entries & exits in 2017/18.
A similar level of usage (872,426 passengers), and next on the busiest stations list, was Falkirk High.
